“Am I the right guy? I don’t know, but I’m the guy being asked, and the last thing I want to do is miss an opportunity or make God mad, so I just keep saying yes.”
From Love Does. And from a text from Megan. Who has more faith in me than I do myself. She was my roommate in Kenya, and I thought she was going to be the one to move to Africa. Not me.
I don’t feel like a missionary. That I’m capable of such a title or such a responsibility. But I said yes. And I kept saying yes.
In super exciting news…I received a call from AIM last Thursday. The call that told me I’ve met my fundraising goal!
It took 97 days/3 months and 5 days to raise close to $18,853. A testimony to what love does. Thank you for having faith in me. Having faith in God. For what he’s doing in Africa, and allowing me to be apart of it.
