I’ve found myself saying that a lot of the past two days at orientation.
In 2nd chronicles v 20, Jehosaphat says “we do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” That’s where I’m at…
I trust that the God who holds me in his arms here in Georgia will call my name in Uganda. He has gone before me, and will be beside me. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
My prayer requests are for safe travels. Easy transition/communication with my roommate. And to meet a friend that is a local to the area.
It has been almost impossible to hold it together the last few days with each of our goodbyes. Thank you to everyone for your sweet words and longer hugs. I turn all of your praise to Him and hope you see this as just my part in furthering His kingdom.
A reminder that my phone number will no longer be in service on Friday. And if you plan on a skype call while I’m gone, go ahead and add my name: amandab_101010 to your friends list. I do not know how much/often I will have internet access, so please be patient if my responses take some time.
all my love,
